anything that "loads itself" onto your computer is a hack !!!
Run scans and do deletes before this thing has a chance to do whatever it is setup to do !! NOW !! Malware can do some screwball stuff and you can't be running the risk that it isn't set to do dang near anything to your OS !!

Hmm, thrilling question. no longer extremely as that I settle for typical factors while they in superb condition yet I additionally settle for as solutions factors that skeptics would brush aside. occasion: I as quickly as had a dream the place my homestead flooded all a thank you to the roof (no longer likely except the international flooded) and day after as we talk returning homestead from college I stepped into my flooded room (my fish tank had cracked open). i presumed this thrilling and regarded for solutions. I settle for that it became achieveable that i became subconsciously conscious of tension and a beginning crack (no longer yet perceptible) that I processed into my dream. The tank became complete when I left for college and not cracked. i'm comfortable with no longer calling this a premonition nevertheless it looked as though it could be a premonition adventure. even with the undeniable fact that, different reports I even have had matter on much less everyday (by using conventional technological awareness no longer by using me or many reducing side scientist) factors. purely by way of fact a conventional answer suits would not recommend even in the area of technological awareness that it is the splendid one or maybe the main probable to be splendid. It purely ability (Occam's Razor) that those factors could be examined first. Psi

You were probably visiting a site that used a type of scripting to deliver the file (and God only knows what else) to your PC. I suggest doing a basic virus scan (you can get a free virus scanner here http://free.grisoft.com).

To prevent sites from doing that sort of thing in the future I reccomendd not using Internet Explorer to browse the web.

Thats a better and safer browser that'll help keep you safe on the web. :)

What might have happened is that your computer cached it.

Simply, it downloaded a copy onto your computer so that the next time you go to that page, it doesn't need to be loaded.
So, stuff goes faster etc.
