I'm not being racist, but I saw a sign the other day that said "Caution - Deaf Person Crossing" , first off could they not have SEEN me?? Plus did they put up that sign just for one deaf local? She must have been knocked down a few times before the council bothered!

Stop. It's so universally recognized, even though other countries may have different shaped ones.
I do think the sign here featuring a family crossing the road that can be found near the Mexico border is funny. http://www.signonsandiego.com/uniontrib/20050410/news_1n10signs.html

Those light up hands for the stop signs. IF you look at them closely they vary from town to town, in cali ther even have ones that give a countdown to how many seconds you have to cross. Thought that was weird.

i live around amish country so i would say the buggy w/ the horse pulling it is pretty funny. plus there is this one that says watch for deaf kids. as if that's different from any other kid who might be jumping out into traffic.

I always liked the "no stopping" sign on dual carriageways. Reminds me of all those bareback times with my first girlfriend about 20 years ago... * sigh *
