i own a shop, and i look for it to go to around 3 bucks or over this year, real easy, its already going up,the question is when will it stop, but it will get high,,I'm with you a horse and buggy sounds pretty good at this point, all they need is grass to survive, and a little water, lets all hope it doesn't go real high if it does there's going to be a lot of big vehicles traded in this year, good luck hope this helps.

They are saying it will stay under $3 everywhere except the west coast. Although the price of gas seems very high, put it in perspective. Over the past 30 years it has increased at or less than the rate of inflation. Meanwhile, cars get better mileage. So $5 in today's money will actually buy you more miles than the same amount of money adjusted to reflect inflation would have 30 years ago. Feel better? I didn't think so.

I'm with you, because of last summer I sold my premium burning car, my husband bought a Taurus, I'm ready for a horse also. They are estimating over $4.00 a gal. At that price I'll have to sell a kidney!

No way to know for sure as no one can tell the future. It goes by supply and demand and politics. Too many variables! I would guess somewhere in the high $2 to low $3 range though.

im still paying 2.799 per gallon of 87.
your horse will be less efficient than a ford festiva.
think of how much you need to feed that horse to get you 20 miles to the grocery store... and then consider how long it will take...

You know what? I don't care! I drive an electric car. It costs me less than a penny per mile to drive around. I bought it used from eBay for $2000. Here's a link to some other cheap electric vehicles:
