Hi everyone, thanks so much for your tips! It turns out that I'll be staying by the Mumbai Airport to be close to work. Some hotels that folks have recommended are: Le Meridien, Leela, Grand Maratha, Hyatt. Which of those has the best bar/club scene? In general, which one of those would you choose?

also check out JW Marriot bars
best place to stay - check for an accomodation in Fort or in Juhu

Try a place called Poison in Bandra
i've been told that in Mumbai - discos fade in and out. Poison was def. "IN"..unfortunately we couldn't get in that particular night because they had a private VIP party.
Bandra is the place!
Otherwise you can always hit up the local 5 star hotels. JW Marriotts for example - Enigma

You better stay home . There is no such places as you are seeking. India is not what you think it is!
It is going to be very warm and humid in Mumbai in April. The last of Dec. - Feb. is when to visit Mumbai.

mumbai is a definite no no this season its toooo humid but if you must come stay in the hotels around madh or aksa beach its cooler there

i would suggest u go to Hawain shack at pali hill its a lounge bar, great crowd and cool place........
