My sister was in NYC two days ago and purchased a purse from Chinatown. She is trying to find out if it is a fake or not. It is silver and has G's all over it. They aren't like the gucci so we know it isnt a gucci, they g's are all different directions and seem to be in no certain pattern. THe label says gg..ing. It is a clear label with g all over and has a black bottom with the word gg..ing. Does anyone know anything about these purses?

It is fake. If someone did steal real ones they'd still be selling them for a premium price, and not on the street. If the price is too good to be true, than it was. But if she got a purse she likes for a reasonable price, than kudos to her!

Anything purchased in Chinatown is probably 100% fake. This area in NYC is specifically known for replicating well known name brands.

It is a fake. This is an imitation Dooney and Burke. If you look them up on line, you can see there typical designs. But the first clue of it's authenticity(or lack there of) is the fact that you bought it on the street, in Chinatown.

that's my a million,000 ingredient. Onto point 3, yay! i admire Louis Vuitton because of the fact of that is severe high quality leather-based and rapid 30s... i admire Juicy because of the fact their sweats are so snug! coach is cool too because of the fact is sells a large style of quite a few issues and interior reason low priced for a fashion designer. Dooney and Bourke is relaxing and much less costly - MY well known! So... Dooney and Bourke.

Any purses made in Chinatown are FAKE! So don't but them ever again. I suggest you buy a real designer bag.

it is probably guess if you say the g's were in different directions. look at this website to see if the g's were something like this.. then its guess... you can also tell if it's fake by looking at the stiches.
