it started 3 days ago, i am 9 wks along and i started bleeding pretty bad. i went to the ER got an ultra sound seen baby and heartbeat (was fine) cervixs closed.and they sent me home. "threatened miscarriage". three days later i went back blood work said my levels had went down, they told me i had already miscarried!! and then i demanded a ultra sound. they did a pelvic exam, cervixs was still closed, and they came back and said ultra sound looked fine great heart beat, and that it looked like a 9 wk old fetus! they said everything looked great.in the meantime i am still having some bleeding, which looks like old blood, but not very much. i have heard of having some periods while pregnant but this late? what could it be?

I went through the same thing, but after my levels dropped the second time, I miscarried. Ask your ob-gyn if it is possible you are losing a twin... that is also something I have heard of.. miscarrying one, and carrying the other one to term.. worth asking about.. and trying to settle your mind.
Have you passed any tissue ?? that may be an indication of losing a twin, especially if they can still see a fetus.

MY SISTER IN LAW HAD THE SAME PROBLEM, SHE WAS BLEEDING WENT TO THE HOSPITAL SAID EVERYTHING WAS FINE, CAME BACK HOME, STILL BLED WENT BACK AND HAD A MISCARRIED. she WAS PRETTY BAD BECAUSE IF THE HOSPITAL HAD TAKEN THE TIME TO REALLY CHECK ON HER THEN THERE WAS A CHANCE TO SAVE THE FETUS, BUT THE BAD PART WAS THAT WHEN SHE WENT TO THE RESTROOM SHE SAW WHEN SHE LOST THE BABY...
