How come when you stare at a picture of a really pretty person for a long time, they start to get ugly?

Or a really handsome guy or something, but yea. Does anyone know what I'm talking about?

The person in the picture starts to appear "ugly" because no one is completely beautiful. Everyone has physical flaws. At first glance, someone may appear to be beautiful. This could be because society has taught us that particular features are beautiful, or just because that person has features that are beautiful, and those are the particular features that stand out when glanced at. When a picture is studied, flaws can be found in anything and in anyone. Take a picture of a beautiful and envied celebrity, for example. After you look at him/her for a period of time, you begin to notice that perhaps his or her face isn't symmetrical, he or she has a crooked nose, or a large chin. This doesn't mean that that person isn't beautiful. Our idea of beauty mostly reflects society's idea of beauty. We all need to remember that what is truly beautiful is what's inside.

Because nobody is perfect and we humans have the bad habit of picking out people's flaws. Example, it's easier to remember someone who has been mean towards you than someone who was decent. Get what I'm saying? And yeah, I notice ugliness in people really easily...I'm actually very disappointed in myself that I do this....=(

properly you do have the ultimate to be offended. you will possibly desire to be waiting to ***** as much as you prefer, get all of it out. Be as offended as you like, yet don't be bitter. the ingredient is that God isn't a magic fairy which will supply you what you prefer. I know what your talking about. Whenever I first look at anything it looks nice but than I actually start to look at it and I notice all the imperfections and things like that.

YEAH!!! that happens to me a-lot; when you stare at it it seems like it starts to move and deforme itself it kind of starts to move its mouth nose etc... but anyway i dont know why it happens!

they dont necessarily get uglier. you just get used to the beauty. its the same thing as when you listen to a really great song over and over again. eventually you just get tired of it.
