It's when You feel like something at that moment has already happened whether in a dream or real life I have those feelings all the time and it's actually quite normal

The most disturbing de ja vu I have ever had was in school. We were in a lecture, and there were about four students and a teacher in the immediate area. We suddenly looked around at each other. All five of us had it at the same time. It was kind of spooky. I never did figure out why.
There are several theories on why we experience de ja vu. The most recent one I read said that one half of your brain processes information faster than the other half, and the experience of de ja vu is really no more than half your mind being slower than the other half.
I personally don't like that explaination.
I think it is a form of esp, precognition. And I also believe in reincarnation, which could explain de ja vu. But I don't believe you come back and live the same life over and over.
My brother used to have precognative dreams, where what he dreamed came true. I have had a few like that, but mostly I just know things right before they happen.

The term "déjà vu" (IPA:/deʒa vy/) (French for "already seen", also called paramnesia) describes the experience of feeling that one has witnessed or experienced a new situation previously. The term was coined by a French psychic researcher, Émile Boirac (1851–1917) in his book L'Avenir des sciences psychiques (The Future of Psychic Sciences), which expanded upon an essay he wrote while an undergraduate French concentrator at the University of Chicago. The experience of déjà vu is usually accompanied by a compelling sense of familiarity, and also a sense of "eeriness", "strangeness", or "weirdness". The "previous" experience is most frequently attributed to a dream, although in some cases there is a firm sense that the experience "genuinely happened" in the past. Déjà vu has been described as "Remembering the future."

The experience of déjà vu seems to be very common; in formal studies 70% or more of the population report having experienced it at least once. References to the experience of déjà vu are also found in literature of the past, indicating it is not a new phenomenon. It has been extremely difficult to invoke the déjà vu experience in laboratory settings, therefore making it a subject of few empirical studies. Recently, researchers have found ways to recreate this sensation using hypnosis

De Ja Vu is when you either dream something or w/e and then it happens in real life and you could have swore this has happened but you usually can't figure out where it has happened.

deja vu is the feeling that you have experianced something before. everyone feels it one way or another. sometimes you can feel it more than once about the same thing.

some people believe that life is repeated and that we live the same life over and over again. this might possibly explain what deja vu really is. we feel like it has happened before because it probably has. but it is rather strange because you can never think back to when it could have occured in the same lifetime. it sometimes feels like we are living the same thing over and over again.

now, the second thing is what some people call a premonition. it is when someone believes they have experianced a vision or feeling of psychic nature. meaning they have seen something that may or does come true. this ties in with deja vu. like, you said your dreams have come true. literally. i have come to think that these premonitions or psychic visions, are warnings sent from our past lives to help us alter the outcome of our future. deja vu is a reminder of that past life.

deja vu can be an instant subconcious warning. meaning that you dont realise it but it triggars the need to act upon something. this only happens sometimes, but if you think on it hard enough it has probably happened to you before.

thats really all i have to say on the matter.
