I'm not sure if I'm worrying too much or if it's a sprain or anything but yesterday I was in P.E. and i tripped and fell and hit my arm really hard. When I first hurt it, I couldn't move anything from my elbow to my fingers or it hurt too much. Then, a while later, there was like sharp stinging pains in my wrist and now today it's fine but whenever I lift something heavier than my cell phone it hurts and I can move it, but if I like shake it or something it hurts and it feels like weight is being put down on it. Am I overreacting, or is it a sprain or something? My parents don't believe that it hurts and they say that I shouldn't go to the doctor, but they are old-fashioned.

First of all if it really hurts when you pick something heavier than your cell phone then you have a minor sprain it could get worse or better but that depends on if you go to the doctor or not. Also, check with a doctor because in detail you said that you hit it pretty hard so you should check you never know. You just want to be cautious because you never know if it can be sprained or even broken.

Hope I helped,

First go check it with the docter. But if you want to figure it out by yourself than try moving if it sprained it would hurt really badly. If it does hurt report to a doctor as fast as you can. And instead of yourself driving there. Call a friend to drive you to the docter.
