I think king kong is sad and cruel.

I did, it was so sad, that poor animal...you are right. it was cruel!

Seems like everyone is in agreement on this one. King Kong's death was cruel and unnecessary. I've seen both the original and the latest remake, and I thought Kong was more animated and believable in the latest version, which made it even harder to watch him die in the end. I've always wondered why they couldn't have just waited until he climbed down, tranquilized him and returned him to his island home. It would have made a much better ending, in my opinion, whether or not she would have chosen to stay with him. It was a true romance in every sense. Reckless killing of animals never did make sense to me.

When I found out that King Kong(peter jackson's) was coming out I was pumped! I love King Kong! With that said...in the movie when he works his way up to the building I have to turn it off! It literally makes me sick! I really wish they would have changed or altered the ending...like maybe gasing him and taking him back to the island....or not even getting off the island.....it just hurts too much to sit and watch him die!

yeah i was tearing up at the ending, they never really understood him and that was sad because he acted out the way he did because of the way people approached him, some people are like that to animals they are afraid of each other and just rid themselves of the animal so that they won't be hurt but if they were to give them the chance things wouldn't have to be that way.

If you're talking about the new one with Adrien Brody, I suggest you watch the original (came out into the 1930's) The new one is just awful with all the strange creatues they add to it, for instance, the large igunanas. The only thing good about it was it had terrific graphics.

I was only tearing up, but I went with my best friend (a total animal lover) and she was sobbing all the way out of the theater!
