I'm 22, my girl is 19. We live in NY. Her family is moving to Atlanta in July cuz they got this new house down there. She's gonna go to school there for 2 years then come back to N.Y. to stay.
But she really doesnt wanna go and I could sense shes a bit depressed about having to go. Things are great between us, we're both on the same level about everything, I'm talking crazy chemistry here. We're very happy with each other.
Well I came up with the idea that she could go to school in N.Y., she could stay here, and live in student housing, a hostel. They have ones here that charge between $17-$30 a night, which I can afford, I would pay it for her until shes able to find work and pay herself. Her parents dont have a problem with her staying in N.Y. as long she has a way shes able to.
I haven't told her about this idea yet, I'm kinda scared of her thinking I'm being too..... I don't know what the word is, maybe you know what I'm talking about. But what do you think? Is it a bad idea?

You are both consenting adults. If the relationship is solid and it is not going to turn into a "shack-up special". More power to you. Keep in mind that if the relationship goes downhill there should be no hard feelings. But, if you are sincere about it. Just ask her straight up what she thinks about the idea. Yet don't be surprised if she offers to pay some or all of the money back. Take it step by step.

Only she can answer you...tell her about it...you have to give her time to decide...don't wait til the last minute...but, what happens to her if you and she break up...see, you don't know what will happen in the future between you and her. You offer to pay for this now, but what happens to this gal if you quit paying it for her? You both need to think this one over....

Tell her now so she can decide if she wants to move or stay. This idea would be up to her :)

not i you are serious about her-tell her your plan. Where do you live why can't she stay with you?
