hello,i'm a complete novice when it comes to computers and the internet, i have internet connection with blueyonder and have as standard blueyonder pc guard,i also purchased anti spyware, and anti theft protection, at an extra £5 a month.I've been told before that they are not worth the money and to download free stuff to protect me of the net,i have now got AVG installed and reg cure, and can't seem to unsubscribe from the additional services from pc guard. Can anyone help me to do this or advise me if i'm about to make a mistake?
Thanks to all who reply in advance.

I and three others have had our PCs crash over McAfee, we have changed to AVG and had no problem, I also have Spyware Blaster another free program that stop a lot of spy ware from even getting through to your PC. I also have Comodo Verification Engine which tells you if you are on a genuine site and not a scam site which is after your info to use against you IE passwords, bank details so they can empty your account etc. that's also free, and I only feel safe when it tells me OK. Comodo also do anti virus and a firewall. free. and another good free one I use is McAfee site Advisor which unlike their virus protection doesn't give any problems it does tell you which site are safe and whether the links are green or red and how many downloads there are.(Brilliant)

Good luck

Doesn't "blueyonder" have a help button such as that provided by Yahoo? Surely they must have a FAQs section (frequently asked questions).

Personally, I wouldn't depend on free AV programs. It is my opinion that they are not as effective as protection provided by McAfee or Norton.
