Stay in drama at school, go to local auditions and make a name for yourself that way so that you can picked up by a good highschool program. Depending on your school's theater reputation more casting may be available to you, when I was in middle school drama casting agents would come to our school because of the reputation.
You can also try local children's theaters and community theater.
But most of all have fun and see if you really enjoy it because you've got plenty of time for discovery and you've got to enjoy it for the hours youll be putting in.
And on avoid scam note, never pay an agent to represent you, they get their paycheck when you get work.

One of the best things you could do would be to read a book written BY a succesful actress who once was a young girl constantly dreaming about "BEING FAMOUS" and how she ACHEIVED that goal. The Book is "One more Time" By Carol Burnett, and it tells not only of her desire, but the obstacles that she overcame, the lack of anyone believing in her dreams, absolute piverty, an alcoholic mother and father who were really not a part of her life at all, just so much against her but it tells also HOW she developed her talent so that she DID reach that goal. I think it wil inspire you and give you some ideas of your own. But the truth is dreams are wonderful! And if you work at it there is no reason you cant make your dreams become a reality!

You could always start at a local community theatre. If anything the experience will be great. Start there and work your way up. Even if you have to audition and you get a part that you don't like remember " there are no small parts just small actors", if you really want this, you won't let the part get you down.

You get involved in community Theater and just follow your dreams. I am in 7th grade and do acting as well. If you are really serious about acting you could also audition for a cereal commercial. Also start practicing cooperation with others. You will need that as well. Hey and if someone gives you a bad time about being in theater instead of sports of something just blow it off. When you act it is as physically and mentally hard as sports, if not harder.

well I think it's great you wanna start young! Taking Drama classes is a very smart step to become "discovered". Make sure to take any and every opportunity you possibly can to perform. Attend auditions in your local area. Remember to just stay real and don't let anything go to your head! Who knows? A talent agent may just discover you at a performance! Good luck!

keep going with drama at school, I for the most part dont' think its so healthy for teens to get uberfamous, work on how well you act that will get you noticed when you're 18 or 19 and decide to try and make in the acting (film and tv) business. Try and get into all the musicals and plays you can where you live and again, practice, practice, practice.

Most actors never become famouse. Those that eat, breathe and sleep theatre, do not dream of being famous, they dream of geting cast in a role that suits them, and one in which they can grow as an actor.
If you want to be famous marry a celebrity.

Taking up any opportunities to get on the stage is a good start. Then i would go from there. The more you perform, the more likely you are to get noticed and then hopefully it will go smoothly from there. Good luck!
