Yeah I have done that before, what is worse though is when I pour out the cereal, put on the milk, take a bite and realize the cereal is stale, because then I just wasted milk. Also when you get the cereal in the bowl, and pour on the milk only to find out the milk is gone bad, then you just wasted cereal! Uhhh!

Yes, it sucks. Or when you pour the cereal, dump in some milk, take a spoonful, then realize the milk is sour? Disgusting. It happened to me once that I can remember, and now I always check on the milk situation before I pour the cereal.
