Some people say you have to be a duck where I live (Vancouver Canada). So rain is every other day, one get used to it and becomes in your blood. I love walking in the rain, looking out my window at the rain, seeing green grass, flower blooming and a smell of freshness, of spring is here.
Sometimes feeling of missing your loved one or being with your loved one by fireplace, wine, soft music and looking at the rain. The rain can make be feel sad, glad, warmth and love and make be think of the fondest memories.
If you are a thinker as I am. You need rain if you are a thinker.
Well for me, kind of goes hand in hand.

I love the rain... I always thought that living in a rainy place like Seattle would be the ideal place for me, but it wasn't, oddly enough. It didn't have the same "Earth" smell that is left after the rain is over, as it does in the state of New Mexico. Plus, the fact that it doesn't rain here often makes rainy days all the more to look forward to. ^__^

I love rain! I'm a writer, and rain helps me write unique ideas. I also love running around in the rain and getting drenched. Rain's also good for lulling you to sleep. But that is just moi.

I love rainy days. Why? There's such a heightened sense of awareness, I find personally. I enjoy listening and feeling the rain, as it pelts down. I often do a lot of thinking and jogging in the rain, too.

I like rains for three reason, 1) I don't have to water the lawn, 2) its cool off a hot day and 3) its good sleeping weather to me.

When it rains it feels so calm and if you go see from the window after the rain stops there is a possibility of a rainbow. The earth cleanses itself and it feels refreshing.

I used to love rain, watching and listening to its powerful yet strangely fascinating impact on nature as a whole and everything else linked to rainfall but not anymore...
Not after wasting thirteen long & endless years of my life on the South Coast of England.
The only aspect I still love about rain, regardless of what happened to me in the past, is the intoxicating and irresistible scent of nature left literally glowing and iridescent after a rainstorm...
