Basically, the last 2 days I have noticed a little wetness, it doesn't seem like the normal discharge that I am use to. It is clear, doesn't smell like anything, just a few drops of wetness, but it is always there now. Do you think I might be starting to leak amniotic fluid and does this mean my water might break soon? I am 38 weeks pregnant and I will have the Doc check of course, just wondering what other experiences were like for other people.

Honestly I thought the same thing. But it was actually pee... just didn't smell because it was so little. Just random bladder leaks. But if you start noticing it constantly, get it checked out. I wouldn't worry otherwise because you are in the clear on the fullterm pregnancy thing :)

My amniotic fluid started leaking at 34 weeks. I also had no odor, and it was clear. Being a first time mom I at first thought I didn't make it to the restroom, I was asleep. But when I kept getting wet I called the doctors who immediately told me to come in. It is possible that you lost your mucus plug, or it is loose and allowing fluid to pass. Anyway it seems like you will be a mom very soon so congratulations.

No that is not amniotic fluid - it fairly is like water, clean or very easy straw colored water. for the duration of being pregnant, that is quite elementary to adventure larger vaginal discharge. maximum motives are fairly benign and generic. What you're noticing is probable purely leukorrhea -- a comfortable-smelling milky fluid or discharge, led to via an larger blood flow to the section around the vagina. that is probable not that distinctive from the release which you experienced till now you have been pregnant -- there is purely plenty extra of it. not something to tension approximately - its all quite generic.

I could be, you might want to go to Land D, then can check if it is, if your amnitic fluid is leaking, then most likeley they will induce you as you could develop an infection if you go moe than 24 hours with your water broken.

Good Luck, and I would call the dr on call tonight or go to the hospital. They do a swap of the wetnessand you'll know immediately if it is amnotic fluid...

Nope, at this end of pregnancy you get A LOT more discharge. If it were your water leaking you would be leaking at least enough to soak your pants every hour or two.
