If it is a male cat...give him a couple of days he will return
If it is a female cat (unfixed) give her a couple of days and she will return with a belly full of growing kittens

Very sorry - you know how fickle those felines can be. When it returns, take it to the vet for a shot, doesn't matter what the shot is, it purely for revenge.
