i brought this webcam about a week ago. i put the cd in the computer and it download into the computer. but it said i didn't download it. what do i do?

A webcam is hardware, you cannot download it. The CD that came with it likely contained the drivers, which tell your computer how to use the webcam.

What make and model is your webcam? Find this out then go here:

And download the relevant drivers, install them to your computer and your webcam should work.

Attach the webcam, while the computer is OFF. Turn it on. Let windows try to recognixe it. When it cannot recognize it, follow the instructions on the screen and put the CD in the drive. It will do the rest/

uninstall everything about the cam, reboot, put in cd, hit download or install whatever it asks, pay attention to where it's going...usully C:/programfiles/nameofcam something like that, read the manual, reboot should do it

ok try reinstalling the software disk it cam with make sure on the first step on installation on the first starting page you select install the device drivers...Not just the software but the device drivers as well install it all then plug in the web cam and it should now work.
