I am PROUD to be an American and GLAD that we are the world's only remaining superpower. But does that mean its our responsibility to shell out $100 billion a year in foreign aid and be world police. ABSOLUTELY NOT! It has only brought resentment and hatred towards us (3/4 of the arab world and al qaeda hate us because of our $10 billion a year to israel). So nothing would make me happier than to tell the world that if another country invades you, call the UN. If you're country is hit by a tsunami, then call the UN. If half your population has AIDS and if you can't feed your citizens, then call the UN. NOT OUR PROBLEM! And if you DO want our help, money, or military assistance, then clear it with the UN first. Othewise leave us alone and we'll leave you alone!
