...I think I do three. I don't know if there's a recommended number of swipes. The directions on mine "Dove Ultimate Clear" just say a thin layer. Hm....Well, there's an 800 number for a reason.

3 swipes. One slow swipe down, one slow swipe up. And then a sort of quick circular one around the pit perimeter--just for good measure.
