hey there, i tried windows media player, media center didn't work i'm using vista i tried to play 2 different dvds, didn't work.the 1st disc is region 1 another-ntsc format, so i don't know what's the problem please tell me thanx

i know it's the problem - vista, but i like it. and where do i fond the drivers for a sound card? is it the only reason? i mean, there is some kind of a music in the movie, just a melody; i can also listen to the music, i can watch avi movies, etc, but when i play dvds, it's just stuck!!!

1st problem is your using Vista.
It might be the drivers for your sound card and re-check all physical connections. Make sure your speakers do work.

try looking for updated drivers for your sound card, or maybe the audio codecs in your dvd are corrupted
