"Sissies"! Where is your compassion, your understanding?! They prefer to be called the "courage impaired" (it's a disease, not an illness).
I bet a bunch of rednecks, if allowed to do so, would do a pretty good job of cleaning up Iraq...but not their yards.

40 years ago we had a Democratic President who was steadily getting us MORE involved in Vietnam.
The Democrats had a couple of candidates in 68 who wanted to end the war. One got murdered, the other wiped out in the polls.
Then came a Republican who won the Presidency based on his vows to end the war. He was re-elected just as his Sec of State uttered that we were about to achieve Peace with Honor. As soon as that peace was in hand, we left and our "friends" were overrun by the North Vietnamese.
Not that I'm saying it was the right thing or the wrong thing to do at that time, but just get your history straight.

I wish I knew how to respond to this, but given your phenominal lack of knowledge about history, there is no where to begin. I doubt if mentioning some books to read will make any difference to you. But your premise is greatly mistaken. Nixon's whole first term was about ending the war in Vietnam - and the Paris Peace talks went well through the early 70s, under 2 Republican Administrations.

All I have to say is that the Democrats lost the Vietnam War for the U.S. by voting to not let the army cross the 38th. parallel. If they keep voting on restrictions in Iraq we will lose this war too.

The liberals think all we need to do is be nice to the terrorists and they will leave us along and let us live our own life... See the record the last administration had with terrorists and what it got us.. USS Cole, The planning and training for 9/11, terrorists camps operating openly in Afghanistan, Osama Bin Ladin consolidating and growing his power. Liberals will never understand the need to keep the minority from ruling the majority.. in the US or on a global scale.

Yep. Just like in Vietnam liberals want us to abandon our friends in Iraq. After we left Vietnam there was a blood bath, and it would be worse in Iraq if we abandon our friends there. The Vietnamese didn't follow us home to attack America after we left, but muslim terrorists are already here and waiting for their chance to attack us again.
Liberals murder their own unborn babies, so what do you expect them to do to the rest of us? Thank God we still have the right to be armed. We might need to defend America from liberals.
