maxi dress?

I am 5'1 and just bought a maxi dress, not sure how to wear it since I was told its mostly for taller women? any suggestions or should I return it?

it depends. on a girl like nicole richie...a maxi dress would look adorable..but yeah..maxi dresses are usually aimed for tall girls. if you want, wear it with the tags still on and see what other people's reactions are. but personally, maxi dresses are in right now so i'd keep it anyway.
