My son has a dell computer and recently his monitor settings have all been changed, this has caused everything to be too large to fit screen. the monitor is one of the older ones with the buttons on the monitor itself. is there anyone out there who can tell me what settings need to be set on to fix this problem. Oh ya everything is sort of angled too.

sometimes this happens when you run a program and it changes the resolution but doesn't change it back when it closes (a crash can cause this)
How do sort it out
Right click on a bland area of the desktop click properties when the dialogue box appears click on the settings tab at the top of the box you'll see a slider on the left hand side of the box move it to the right a little 1024x768 is a good place to start and click apply if you don't like it windows will revert after 15 seconds if you don't click ok

i had the same problem...on the monitor there should be 3 buttons, one with a + sign, one with a - signs, and one that looks like a piece of paper...if you click on the - arrow, it will make the screen very small....then hit the paper looking button which will reset it, and it should be back to normal...hope this helps, and if u have any further questions, be sure to send me a message
