Box #20 will have 22 dots and box #50 will have 52 dots.

Not enough to establish a sure pattern... it could be that odd boxes are one less than the box before them, or they could merely be the same as the number box.

For even boxes, it appears it is n+2, so 20 would have 22 dots and 50 would have 52.

If we had more than 2 even boxes to go on, it would help.

easy...

in box 20, there are 22 dots
in box 50, there are 52 dots

you just add two to each even # because odd #'s have the same # of dots as their original #

The Formula is for 1st ,3rd,5,7, etc boxes ==> y = 2X+1 and your start with "Zero"
The second one which is 2,4,6,8 Boxes is
Y=2X+2 and start from 1

So the 20 and 50 Box goes to the second formula which is Y=2X+2
the 20 box has 42 dots
the 50 Box has 102 dots
