I know the main headlines but as far as digging deep into it I find myself lost. I'm not what you would concider an ignorant person. I just don't have a lot of interest in this area. Is this a bad thing?

Yes, it is a bad thing because government tends to be corrupt, and sneaky about it, and we all need to keep ourselves informed of what they are up to in order to protect ourselves, and our country and our freedoms. You cannot, however, depend on the mainstream media to give you the truth. The mainstream media is almost 100% propaganda. The mainstream media are owned and controlled by the same global Elitists that are trying to create a new world order, with them running things, and the rest of us micro chipped slaves. The mainstream media will only tell you what the globalists want you to believe. If you want to find the truth, you have to research alternative sources. *sm*

Not necessarily a bad thing. However, as your knowledge of politics is limited to the headlines, you don't really know enough to make an educated choice when it comes to voting. You're easily manipulated by politicians who engineer the headlines to influence the millions people like you. It is said, people get the governments they deserve and the uninformed 'elected' George Bush

I think it is bad if you don't know the platform for the person you are going to vote for and if you are going to argue politics with other people. Not everyone has to have an interest in this area, just make sure when you vote that you do your research.

the place I come from, engagement events are not present giving activities (they're for introducing the engaged couple to the two households and their acquaintances) so i does no longer have observed that he became making a factor of no longer giving a cutting-edge. in case you or your baby have not got a courting with this relative then do no longer invite him to the marriage except no longer inviting him will reason different issues interior the family participants. Many brides and grooms many times whinge that they'd desire to ask family participants participants that they don't comprehend and have not seen ever and would desire to diminish out somebody they might extremely have attend. unencumber the area he and every physique who might have comprise him might have taken up so which you will invite somebody else who's corporation you will possibly appreciate. ignore approximately his undesirable manners, if he's as vast a selfish sleaze as you assert you comprehend him to be then this don't have been unpredicted.

Yes, it's a bad thing. We've had 20+ years of US citizen apathy and this is where it has taken us. An extremist government on the verge of fascism without any care about the American people and who is out for it's own corrupt and corporate agenda. It is your responsibility as an american citizen to watch over your government to keep your rights in tact. You have a personal investment in that awareness. It's called keeping your country free.

Yes because voting is a privilege we have in the US. I assume you are a woman and for us women it was fought for even harder.

Politics to affect your life in many ways. Have you heard of the IPOD laws and the don't -talk-on-the-cell-in-the-car laws? Those are "nanny" laws.

Also, if you vote without knowing exactly who you are voting for you may not be satisfied with who you chose.

In a time of war you should be aware of the proposed policies people want to make in your name. I have strong feelings on this, most of us do, and I want someone as close to my values as possible.

If you are not voting then it is not a bad thing. If you are voting, then it is a very bad thing.

Having no interest in politics is fine, just do us all a favor and make sure not to vote, alright?

No. It is only important to those who wants to play politician. All of previous presidents that remember(ed) by Americans usually know little about politics. ex. Washington, Lincoln, Kennedy, Truman, etc. They all focus on helping the people.

you don't really need to know the nuts and bolts of politics, but don't vote for the pretty face either. Know what they're talking about, and pick the candidate who will represent you the best.
