Do you celebrate Halloween?

I hand out candy, but don't really celebrate for the last couple of years...
I used to love Halloween as a kid though, especially since I didn't have to go to school because it was also Nevada Day!

Halloween is my favorite holiday....its the only day of the year its ok to be someone you are not and have it be acceptable...lol...i over decorate...in fact i think i probably have more Halloween decor than christmas, no I know i do...lol...every year we spend days decorating outside for 2 hours of trick or treaters...we have a graveyard that we do ourselfs with hand painted stones and several corpses that crawl out of the ground...we decorate with purple lights even cover the lamppost with purple cellophane...we use a fog machine and black lighting as well as the whole creepy sounds background music...every year i find something new to do outside and every year i go all out on a costume...i know its for 2 hours and all but i enjoy the challenge of comming up with something better each year...and i love original costumes...i try to always make or piece together my kids costumes so they will never have the same as anyone else...two of thier costumes have gotten national attention...one year my son was freddy vs jason...we completely made his costume from scratch obviously nothing like that existed...and the photo of his costume was shown on the time square jumbotron....another time he wanted to be the lil bald dancing guy on the six flaggs commercials....the costume came out incredible and his picture made it on live with regis and kelly during thier halloween costume contest....if you want to see some pics of past halloweens my yahoo 360 has several halloween albums that you can view....Rosie

Yes my husband, my children and I all celebrate Halloween. There is absolutely NOTHING wrong with the holiday. Yeah, some ppl dress in "OHHHH OH SO SCARY HARMFUL COSTUMES" (pfft, yeah). Of course some people dress scary some people dress funny, some people dress in cute cow costumes. There is nothing devilish about Halloween. It is all fun and games. POINT BLANK! Huh, the same "so called Christians out there boycotting Halloween", were out celebrating it as children, and their mothers allowed it! So if they think it is sooooo wrong what do they now think of the ppl that allowed it for them! And I bet the same ppl who HATE Halloween, if you check their DVD shelf you will find several horror movies, HYPOCRITE'S!

No it is evil I do however buy candy for the children because it is promoted so much. It's hard tell a child they can't dress up like other children because we don't believe in Halloween when their friends are celebrating.

Oh yes! Our house was like the hangout spot last Halloween. We decorated and some of the smaller kids would not come up on the porch to get candy. We took it to them.
Oh and dear Bubbly, IT IS NOT WORSHIPPING THE DEVIL!!!!!!!!!!!!

no, not since i dressed up as Ronald McDonald and got jumped by a bunch of teenagers, then taken to the local Burger King and hung upside down on the playground fence...enough said?

i teach little kids. i celebrate EVERYTHING. but halloween is actually fun outside of work. you couldn't get me into a costume unless alcohol was involved.
