or i should say it is in the middle of my van and it stops when I cut the engine off???

Sounds like the transmissions final drive is making noise or a wheel bearing is wearing out. Have it checked by a competent mechanic before more damage is caused.

Kind of vauge description....
Um, could be your differential needs more gear oil, or a good flush.
Maybe a rear brake drum.
Maybe your muffler is clogged.

Sounds like a brake or shocks problem get checked out.
