Stop using those free scans. Those things are nonsense.
I suspect that Mcafee is expired. Those things require an annual Fee, if you didnt pay its not active.
Get yourself a free Antivirus go to www.grisoft.com and download that AVG Free that is a good one. It will clean up your computer for you.
No way do you have that many viruses, there just arent that many floating around. You might mean 745 possible improvements in your Registry or file arrangement from some kind of a free scan, but not viruses. Those things make no difference in computer operation, just a sales gimmick to get y ou to spend money on a software program you do not need.

First of all, iexplorer.exe is the file that opens the internet explorer. Iexplorer stands for internet explorer. Now way you 745 viruses on your laptop. I think you are either seriously confused or you are lying.
If you really have that many viruses, you have two options. Do a system recovery or take it to a shop and have them fix it for you.
You can try downloading a free anti-virus program from www.download.com, but a system recovery would work best, if you really have that many viruses.

Your computer is so infected that removal of all those infections will damage the Operating System forcing you to reformat. Save yourself all the time and trouble of removing the infections and do an reformat to clean your computer.
Once you have reformatted go here and download this free Antivirus program. It uses the Kaspersky AV which is one of the very best available.
http://www.activevirusshield.com/antivirus/freeav/index.adp
You need much more protection than an AV program. Go here and read this site. When you are done you will have enough basic knowledge to properly protect your computer.

Go to Webroot spysweeper, download the free trial version, and run it.
I had the same trojan, and this worked for me.
What you have is a trojan, known as btcar.com,and it changes your iexplorer search settings
Webroot will quarantine,or delete it ,and send it back to hell.
This trojan will also install itself in your registry, and your memory,so that every time you load your computer,it is there. .
After removing this pest, download FIrefox,or Opera, and only use Interntet Explorer for known safe sites.
This trojan targets Internet Explorer, and can be vicious.
I only use Internet Explorer, when I am absolutely sure of the websites I am visiting.
