I have an area in my yard that gets no sun. It becomes a mud hole every time it rains or the snow melts. Any advice is welcomed.

yes you can, just keep planting shady grass seed. make sure you block it off to keep animals off and people. i see where some people will put straw on top and soak with water. you can plant ferns and other plants like hostas that love the shade. astilbe is another shade loving plant. but if you want ground cover, also try sedium. if you raise the ground up this will also stop the mud hole. i used my leaves as a bottom base, then took dirt and piled it on top, this raised my beds, also did good as a weed blocker.

Try ivy. It doesnt need much sun and loves the water. I dont know of a grass that will grow in that condition.

Scotts has a "Shade" grass seed

Others may make it for shade also. Just read the labels.
