I have friend on crack that has four children. The ages are 7 which are twins, 9, 15. The 15 year old is living with his father. I am so worried about the younger ones. Their mother just will not leave it alone. I used to feel sorry for her. But it has been 7 years since she started so I do not feel for her anymore. I can not have any children and when she was expecting the twins she was smoking while she was carrying them. I begged her to stop but she is selfish and does not care. Her 9 year old can tell me step by step on how to load up a crack pipe. I have called social services and they have not done anything about it. Thank God the twins was born ok. I am just to fed up. The only thing that is keeping me going in this friendship is the kids. She is so neg. and we have nothing in common except the kids. Please advise me on what to do. I am at my wits in. Should I end the friendship. I have done everything I know of. She has been on welfare for 15 years.

i know how u feel i HAD a friend that basicly is doing the exact same thing. i would definatly get the cops involved and stress the fact to the cops that social sevices didn't do any (as usual) she can't be helped by any one but herself, i know from expeirience, and the kids, now thats a totally different problem those kids NEED to get out of there ASAP try and help them not her it's over for her. you are an awsome friend by the sounds of it

Tell her she needs some help not just for the friend ship, but for the sake of her kids, and her own health, I'm 13 and Im in my health class right now so I know about this stuff. I also have a friend who has parents that do crack and shes sorta emo. not in the cut her wrists way but she has done it before, and like you said about how that kid knows how to load a crack pipe, well it sorta scared me when me and my friend were doing a project on crack, she drew the perscription bottle it came in, the blade, the pipe, and the rocks and dust. It scared me a little that she knew so much about it but I guess becaus the worst my parents have ever done was come home drunk, and that was only 1 or 2 times. If the social workers wont come and pick the kids up than tell them that it a serious matter and if you dont take the kids firs you will. Now I dont mean like kid napping or anything just go to your friend and say..." Listen if you dont go get some help soon im going to take the kids and have them come live with me or take them to their fathers because this is a very serious matter and I dont want you or your kids to get hurt or killed from this that can be stopped."... And dont forget to let her know that you guys have been friends forever and your there to help any time she needs it. wow your a great person and friend. dont end the friendship because the kids need your help. they are all heading into very bad things in the future. she can over dose and die then all the kids will live a horrible life. call the cops or something. mabee u should take in her kids.

wow , well ur a real good friend for tryin to help for all this time, uve tryed ur best, try to get her family involved and what the hell social services just brushed it off like was nothing? damn they suck, i feel u on this i would worry about the kids too, why not try talking to a cop? im sure they can help somehow best of luck

stick with the friendship hunni. the kids will grow up and make their own choices just like the mother is making hers now. its not an ideal situation i agree.
