I have a fresh water tank, 33 gallon..4 mollies 2 females inwhich are popping out TONS of babies! 6 Guppoes, 5 frogs and 18 shrimps.....and now over 30 babies. I need to get rid of these! Should I buy an angel fish to control (eat) the babies? Or....should I dispose of them?? Help!

Just got off the telephone with the local pet store...:( they will not take them. I dont want to flush them....so I think I will get an Angel fish tommorow...maybe it will take care of the little ones. Anyone ever heard about "removing the male" mollies? something the pet store man said.....anyways, Im angel shopping. Or, if anyone in Southern ontario wants some.....they are free and healthy! Thanks for all the support!

Your Mollie dilemma is a lot like I had with Guppies when I was a kid.. One aquarium became a dozen aquariums and then I got a few Garter snakes and that solved the over population problem. Eventually I moved and gave the fish to a friend (and he may not be my friend any more) and he might have gone into the fish store business... he had plenty of Guppies for stock. (You hear that James Craft ? I am talking about you, circa 1966).
Honestly, I have no solution for your fish problem but find it strange that the pet store would not even take them.. it is pure profit for them, even to sell them as feeders.

You could give them away to pet shops or schools. But eventually you will probably rn out of places that will take them. Another tank with a "molly culling assistant" may be a good idea.

Get as many jars as possible and put them evenly in the jars as soos as you do that drive to the store and buy a tank or two for them and maybe leave a few babies in there with the mother and then when you got the baby tanks set up put them in the tanks then do what ever you want...

...I recomend to sell them ><)))*>

you should sell it. if not, then give it to a pet store. don't give it to pet shops like petco or petsmart. give it to a not very big place and not that much people go to and give it to them. i gave my parrot fish and asked petco to take it and they won't, so i gave them to a japanese lady who takes anything. you can't believe she took it. or get a large mollie or angelfish. luckily i have a seperate tank for babyfish because my large mollie already ate 3 small guppies of mine!
