That is basically the new idea of Heavy Rock culture. Hawthorne Heights, Flyleaf, Silverstein, Note to Self, 30 Seconds to Mars, and many other young artists. Have you ever had that moment in time where you didn't know what to do? That you didn't have any words to speak and instead of a "curse" word, you find yourself screaming? Well my opinion about this is that the artists are stuck in a situation that they can't express properly.

The scream defined the 80's (GNR, Skid Row...) and even The Beatles and Janis Joplin did it. I think the scream adds emotion to a song. I love it.

Sometimes I like but most is I think its weird.... Its so annoying to hear screams in the music because I cannot understand the song.....because its too loud....
Even MCR do that, I love them very much

As long as its appropriate and fits the song. I don't like bands where every part of every song is just screaming. But it is ok in parts of songs. So long as it doesn't detract from the song itself.
