question? I asked my significant other what the purpose of his upcoming business trip was. He said "product name" "producer of product" "programming it." I forget the product but something like "master control...Panasonic...programming it". It took me several other questions to determine that he was going to be trained how to program a product so he can sell it to his customers. Why couldn't he just say that?!!

Sometimes talking about work tends to be more detailed than the spouse wishes to know. You did the right thing by asking questions until you understood. In my opinion, of course!

Cause he didn't think it was such a big deal and decided he didn't want to go into a lengthy detail?

Hoping you would drop the subject?

Doesn't like your snooping?

Maybe he didn't think you would understand what it was. OR, maybe he didn't even understand what it was.
