I try to be a very grounded person, but Jill has me so happy that I am beginning to suspect that I'm a better person than I had ever thought. How else can I explain being good enough to attract someone like her?

I'm reasonably humble, but I belive I do have a good self image. I do like the person that I see in the mirror each day. I do my best not to be egotistical, and I also go out of my way to help others. I will say that having been laid off a good job, I have eaten my share of humble pie.

I'm very humble really and feel rather awkward if I receive a compliment because I find it a bit difficult to respond .

Im too humble for my own good. I always wait for someone else to toot my horn for me. Sometimes that works and sometimes it backfires. I'm usually the last one to brag. But it seems like the people in life that do brag and talk a lot of crap, are the ones that go far. I've been like this for so long, it doesn't sound right to me if I talk myself up.
Ah well, that's life, I reckon.

Not as humble as I should be... It can be hard. I like to be proud of things I do well.
And then, is thinking you do well at something or trying hard to achieve something not humble? And the mental circle goes on and on....
