Any nuclear attack or the perceived imminent threat of one would cause Israel to preempt or strike back instantly. Any large scale use of chemical or biological agents would likely evoke a similar response, as would any mass coordinated Arab attack that seemed to be succeeding. Israel may have as many as 100 multi-megaton devices (or more) and the capabilty of delivering them accurately to any country in the region. There could be an instant calamitous end to the MidEast problem.
The Arabs should be very grateful to providence that Israel has such a well defined idea of 'purity of arms' up and down its chain of command and within its leadership.

A nuclear attack on Israel would be the only thing.

Israel's nuclear weapons are a deterrent. Nobody's ever going to use them. The Middle East is an extremely crowded place. A nuclear attack on Lebanon or Syria would mean that most of Israel would become irridated. It's not going to happen.

I think the aggressor would have to make the first move because Israel is not a first strike nation.

As former President Clinton said being interviewed, referring to Iran because of its' aggressive stance towards Israel, "A nuclear
attack on Israel, Iran's best day would have been the day before".

Almost anything, Israel is a danger to the world and is in violation of more UN Resolutions than any two other countries.
The only time Israel has lived in peace with it's neighbors is when it was occupied a Colonial Power. Egypt, Babylon, Greece, Rome or the Ottomans

any Iranian use of acts of war, similar to the capture of the 15 British sailors, would ignite them

The Israelis won't stand for this stuff and they are not afraid to show how powerful they are.

So anything done against them will be gladly returned I garuntee it
