Yes, especially when the person who made the joke is talking about them. A lot of the time, people think they can get away with making fun of someone by making it sound like an innocent joke, and it can often be hard to tell the two apart.

Yes. Sometimes I think that people are losing their sense of humor. Oddly enough, it's not the good, nice people who interpret humor for rudeness--but the type-A people who are quite opinionated and individualistic.

yes, some people do have a rude sense of humor and if taken the wrong way they can be considered rude not humorous.

Yes....some people think they might be funny, and make a joke. Not realizing their hurting someone. Same with gossip. People should THINK first.....People do get hurt and this IS rude. Some folks are just insensitive to this.

Humor is cultural , what might be funny in one culture would be rude in another.
In the US its the same for areas you grew up in.

they can, I found that those who laugh little or are "good girls" or shy can be the most annoying for doing this.
