I think they have a legitimate shot of making it far again this year. They really haven't lost much of anything and their farm team (Go Hens!!) have won the IL championship the past two years in a row and obviously have talent there as well. A big difference from '02 when the Hens made it to the playoffs but the Tigers sucked so bad they kept taking players and ruined the Hens shot at the championship that year.

It depends on what "IT" is you're asking.
If you're asking will they made it to the WS again, then I guess we'll have to wait and see. While their pitching is good, and offense has improved, they still have some weak spots to work on.
1) They need to cut down on their strike-outs. they are not very patient at the plate.
2) Pitchers defense! THEY NEED TO LEARN HOW TO TOSS THE BALL TO THE RIGHT BASE AT THE RIGHT TIME!
3) Kenny Rogers needs to learn how to wash his hands after using the potty. (joke).
4) I'm worried about The Yankees, They aren't going to be as accommodating as they were last year.
5) Self-Destruction. They need to know that 2006 was indeed a very magical year, but to put that in their memory banks and not use it as a crutch. They need to keep working one game at a time, like last year.
6) Each team plays 162 games and that division is not going to be an easy one to win.
7) With Jim Leyland managing I think they have a good chance. But as I said, they cant afford to get cocky.

If you mean lose the World Series, ya because i dont think that they will even make it there. Sorry if you are a Tigers fan, but its probably true.

I'd say they definatly have a good shot, they're gonna be much the same as last year, just with more motivation. I'd like to see it anyways, they're a relatively young club, and i think Jim Leyland is great for baseball. It's nice to see good baseball finally come back to Detroit, they have a good fan base.

i think the wood tigers will but the normal tigers dont cause they not very strong.
