There isnt a single individual on the Lakers that plays better offense, defense, or transition basketball. In fact, you would be hard pressed to find a player that does this better than Kobe in the whole league. Unless you are claiming "addition by subtraction", or honestly believe the ESPN hype machine that tells you Kobe is the devil, then i dont know how anybody who knows anything about basketball could ever say that the Lakers would be better off without Kobe.

okkai all u ppl who sayin kobe is a ball hog. First of all u see when kobe was getting his teammates involved they lost 7 in a row and since he took the team on his shoudlers they have won three straight. Secondly kobe is not a ball hog because if u see his teammates are alaso scorin in double figures three other laker starters average in double figures other then kobe. he is gettting almost 6 assists a game which is better then most of the scorers up there. And for the biggest ball hog it has to be carmelo. takes the most shots and averages only about 4 assists. and ppl bashin kobe jus because he scorin 60 a game. lets see some one else shooting over 50% from the feild and score 60 if u can do it and win the game y not. As long as u win u can do nething u want. Are the lakers complainin y the hell r u guyz

lol is this a joke? Lakers would be terrible without kobe. The only reason why he might ballhog is because he is the only one that could score consistantly. smush and odom might make baskets every once in a while but some games they can't make a darn shot, even when they are open sometimes they miss badly. If kobe was traded by steve nash (leader in assists), lakers would be worst because nash needs players that could score around him and he wouldn't have that with the lakers. And nash can't score like kobe.

hey i got to tell you that even though kobe is a ballhog, the lakers wouldnt put up half the numbers he does alone. You always got to check the stats. I believe that the lakers wouldnt be as good as they are without kobe.........he's a balla

stop saying it was kobes fault the team went on a losing streak. they were an elite team until odom, walton, radmonovic, kwame, turiaf, all got hurt. at the same time. The lakers had to play AAron Mckie at some point
