As a guy, I can only say when he is ready to propose to you, he will do so. There are no signs. You can have the best relationship in the world, but if he isn't ready to get married, he won't propose.

First off, You DON'T!! and you shouldn't wanna know... it's a supposed to be a surprise for you.. you're supposed to be at shock and so excited when he gets down on one and knee and asks you. But you'll get the hint he wants to marry you when he says, I can't wait until we start our life together, I can't wait until we are husband and wife, I cannot wait until we get married, stuff like that. Anyways, here's an early congrats if he does propose! :)

Let's see....oh, yes...when you hear the words, "will you marry me, " that is a good indication he is going to propose. Until then, don't even think about it. Of course, you might consider asking the same thing...but be prepared for a "I don't think so." It is a crap shoot at best.
