Most of our lives are lies. We lie to ourselves continually. We give value to things which are ultimately worthless. Our relationships are lies. I speak from the perspective of a programmed American consumer. So I answer your question, is it possible to live a lie, with a question, is it possible to live the truth?

The way to avoid being a victim of lies is to do one`s own thinking and verifications. The truth in one moment can be the next moment`s lie.
Yes it is possible to live a lie and the outcome can be positive or negative. The same applies to the third question. One who is living a lie can tell the truth. Many esoteric teachers, if not all, use lies to circumvent what is natural resistance in their students. The idea is that the student will discover the truth by himself/herself and then it will be far more valuable than mimicking someone else. Makes sense to me. A major piece of knowledge which is often missing with the above is that the students can be of two sorts, positive and negative ones. If care is not taken in the matching of the right sort of student with the right sort of lie, only half will benefit at best.

A lie is a lie is alie. Unfortunately no one is immune from the obvious. To evade something that you wish not to reveal, the next word out of ones mouth is to lie.
You will find nearly every sentence that comes out of our mouths is a lie. Why because we embellish the truth alittle.

You were asked to keep a secret, your having an affair, you have been grounded and you do the op posit etc etc etc So many one could go on. No matter what you do or say to each other you will lie and sometimes not realise it.

Life is a lie, your politicians lie. One can never avoid the proverbial. "can one live a lie and tell the truth," "Of course"
It all depends whether that person will forgive.
Not easy to forget.

No one can avoid lies. Lies have been here ever since the beginning of time and they will continue to cycle to the end of days. Everyone has lied. A lie is a false impression or to deliberately say something that is not true. Sometimes we lie to our friends to make them feel good. Sometimes we lie to ourselves.

The best way to avoid lies is to simply tell the truth. You can live a lie by denying yourself the truth. You can tell the truth, but it'll be much harder for you to recognize what the truth is.

I don't know how to avoid being fooled by lies, but I would recommend you learn how to read people. Personally, I just like to believe everyone is telling me the truth.

A lie is a statement of fact which is known by the speaker to be untrue. That is different from an opinion, or from a true statement made to deceive someone.

A good liar by definition is one who can tell a lie as easily as the truth, sometimes even more so.

We are learning that the brain of a liar knows the person is lying, and that will be the basis for an infallible "lie detector" one day soon.

You may live a lie? yes. And be thinking you are right. People thinking flying was impossible in past centuries, as an example, or perhaps it was a true in that time...just turn into a lie in these times.
As in considering someone who lives in a lie tell the truth...yes. Perhaps inconciously, perhaps if he is not aware that's he (or she) is living in a lie...

A lie is a deliberate misrepresentation of the truth by either 1) making a statement that is false, 2) making a statement that is either true or false by presenting it in such as way as to be misleading or 3) remaining silent or omitting facts that, if known, may lead the listener to a different conclusion.
