I have no idea, and I don't why he can't ever belt out anything besides ridiculous talking points. Today, Hannity was debating with four other guests on the issue of the bill just passed by the House which would set a timetable for the Iraq war. (Fruitless as Bush will veto it anyway.) Throughout the debate all he ever did was shout down and consistently interrupt the two guests, a retired US general and an Iraq War veteran both who disagreed with him, with nothing but talking points. Far-right, smear-tactic, propagandist talking points. No real facts or ideas or views. Hell, the guests on his side sounded a lot more informed and intelligent than him.
You know, baseless accusations that bring nothing to a debate. Liberals want us to lose, Democrats embolden the enemy , if we leave there will be chaos (Not like theres already chaos, with that civil wa- oh sorry Fox News, "sectraian violence" going on.), and al-Qaeda will have a safe haven .(Not like they were already building a presence there, oh wait...) So on and so forth. Total BS.
I want us to win I really do, but if we keep making the same damn mistakes and making worse ones like we have been for the past four years, then very soon I don't think victory will be a possibility, whatever victory may be.

I don't watch his show, so I can't answer specifically.
However, in any discourse a person interrupts someone else when he isn't really interested in what he has to say.
In this case Hannity is putting on a show and not doing real journalism. He's trying to appeal to his base, which are far right conservatives who want to stick it to liberals.
I hope your journalism class teaches you that that's entertainment, not journalism.

Its his show to direct the questions on, and his show to decide when people have finished speaking. More over his guests - as with any others - should be civil.
The only time I've seen that happen is when they start ranting.

He's a charlatan. If he let his guests talk, they might win an argument.
