I think that there is more of a realization that team leaders must actively engage all members of the team and make them feel that they are making a valuable and unique contribution to the team.

The old concept of treating people like spare parts will not work anymore.

When the teacher asks the question in class, students who are unsure of the answer tend to follow the lead of the first student who answers.
