If so. How.?? If I connect my ipod to someone elses computer /library would I be able to get music from thier itunes library? What if it is a Mac? If my Ipod is based on a PC does that mean i can't use a Mac itunes library. Please answer this question as specific as you can. THNX

I did this once, but with a Windows... I think what I dod was I exported the songs from the other library into a file [I was sharing computers], and when I imported them I got all the songs.
You can also just put all the songs on CD's and then put the CD on your ipod [but that takes too long...]
I bet the music can be placed on a file like everything else and emailed, but I'm not sure.

I don't know for sure about this, but I think you can. But- I would like to say that songs are available through yahoo email. So, have your friend send you a song that you want. Tel him or her to click the button "ATTACH FILES" on their Yahoo email. Then, click "BROWSE" in one of the boxes. Look for "My Music" and click that. Then, click "Itunes". And then click: "ITUNES MUSIC. Then click the artist you want and it gives you a choice of songs. The file will be accessible through iTunes.

no watever u do dont connect it to someone elses library. itll erase all ur songs then u gotta go back to ur library and sync ur ipod to get them back again. if u want songs u dont have get limewire @ limewire.com
