The answer is a "heli coil" sorry, I cant spell. This kit will clean up the threads and add extra metal to allow the plug to fit in correctly.

Alot of folks do this simply because if too much torque is applied, it will happen.

A bit of advice. Never force the spark plug to turn. Turn it nice and easy. And they sell a product these days called anti-seize compound, spread this stuff on the threads to keep them from seizing.

Anyway, the threads of the spark plug well need to be re-tapped. Unless you're an experienced mechanic with alot of super cool tools - you'll need to bring this into your local mechanics auto shop and have it done professionally.

They should be able to fix it, it's rare that you've caused so much damage that you'll need a new engine.

Good luck.

The spark plug hole needs to be re- threaded
By this I mean you have to put a tap into it and actually cut a proper thread into your cylinder head
BUT
if I were you I would take it to a garage that you know of and have them do it .. its an easy job for someone who knows how but if you mess it up then you will need either a new engine or a new cylinder head .. all of which will cost you pleanty ...

I would stuff a oil wet rag in the hole and get a tap and tapit out.

if you didnt mess it up too much, you might try tapping it, but the correct way is to get a heli coil and follow instructions. you can save your engine. i have done it many times.
