I've never lived in Georgia. However, I can tell you this: Houston is humid, really humid. Worse than New Orleans. You have to drive forever to get anywhere and its not uncommon to spend two to four hours a day commuting back and forth to work. IMO Dallas is impossible...I have a theory that its not a part of Texas but has been transplanted from somewhere around NYC, NY. Fort Worth is ok, more down to earth. Austin is a college town, and the seat of the state government. San Antonio has the best of both worlds I think. I'd definitely check out the chamber of commerce stuff, and the crime rates which in any big city can be horrific. Good luck!

I currently live in Houston TX and it sucks!

I can't wait to get out of this horrible & boring Texan hole, I swear!

Personally, I would choose Georgia for two main reasons: it's on the American East Coast & it's located right next to Florida's Northern border so go for it just for those two reasons alone!!!

I used to live in Florida (Fort Lauderdale FL) and it's 100% better than Texas, I can promise you at least that much!

Good luck with any "domestic" decisions you may make buddy!

P.S. I have been to Atlanta GA twice but only by travelling through though. Just out of curiosity, what's Little Rock AR like, if you don't mind me asking?

Atlanta has its issues, primarily traffic, but is otherwise a great place to live. You are in an urban area, but can get to the mountains or seashore (Savannah) relatively quickly. Housing costs in Atlanta are low compared to other areas, but being in the city costs more than being out in the suburbs which is the case no matter where you live. Check out the link below. It will give you some of the specific information you might want in order to make a decision.

If we confirmed up, we would bypass smoke up lower back at lunch time. One time, I screwed up so massive on an analogous time as skipping, i became too scared to stand my mom and father for a week. purely took off settee surfing. i'm bowled over i actually went decrease back. they could have purely murdered me. fairly, I graduated and punctiliously wiped sparkling up my act. nevertheless embarrassed by using the quantity of skipping I did and the crap I have been given as much as.
