No, it's not true. Someone with an IQ of 5 would be someone in a deep coma, with severe cerebral palsy, or a corpse. Goldfish have IQs over 5.
IQ and intelligence are not the same. Someone can have a very high IQ, but be completely ignorant. There is no connection between political beliefs and intelligence.

Dude. I'm a proud member of the anti-Bush league. But if he had an I.Q. of 5 he wouldn't be smart enough to breathe. I heard he's at 91. His fans (both of them) say it's higher.
