how come my computer speakers not working?

They are working if i play a song in WMP but not in internet like if i go to a song site the sound wouldn't come out.

Since you say that you can play & hear WMP file ....
..... it's got nothing to do with the speakers or your soundcard.

It has (most likely) to do with a plugin that may be necessary to play the online music.

maybe because the volume is on mute. our computer has been doing the same thing. you should check and see if it on mute.
