Write a story about how kids are people too and shouldn't be treated like caged animals to give to your parents in the morning. Make sure to provide a list of better alternatives so they don't lock you in next time.

sneak out the window.
creep down stairs and help yourself to the punch. try to get everyone as drunk as possible and stay outta your parents way.
(NB: second suggestion wont work if you live in a really tiny house).
