When did Anna Nicole name her baby? Before or after her son's death?

Her son's name was Danny. It seems to me that she named the new baby after her son, who probably was already deceased. With all the media hype about Anna Nicole, I have not read (or heard) anything about this at all. Have you?

She initially named her Hannah Hope, but after Daniel's death, she changed it to Dannielynn.....which is a tribute to her late son, but I hope that when Dannielynn grows up, she won't feel like she wasn't as special to Anna not to have an original name...

I haven't heard anything about it, but I would probably say so. Anna Nicole probably named Danielynn b/c it was a version of Danny, and her son had just died. Her son meant alot to her, and people tend to name their children after people who had alot of meaning in their life. I think it's a really sad story, Anna Nicole's baby needed her mom to be with her during the years growing up. She'll never know about her mom or her brother other than what other people say. That's got to be hard on children.

She had named the baby before Daniel died, can't recall what she named her, but after Daniel died Anna changed the baby's name to Dannielynn!!!

Dannielynn was born before Daniel died, though not by much.(she was born 9/7/06, he died 9/10/06). It is certainly possible, though not certain, that the similar names were intentional.
